A Brief History of the GCB

The Guernsey Concert Brass recently celebrated its 40^th birthday, young in Brass

Band terms, but during its life it has grown from strength to strength until its current establishment of 35 players.

The band has travelled widely, performing both contest and concert and has had the pleasure of welcoming many bands to the Island if Guernsey, notably Brighouse, Soham Comrades and Dobcross Silver.

Like any band it has a permanent ebb and flow of players. Hopefully these pages will grow to include a more definitive history of the GCB but in the meantime I will try to post any photos and articles of interest which may come my way.
