Summer Concert

The GCB played its 'Spring Concert' to a foot tapping audience in a sweltering St James.

The GCB was 'Cooking with Gas', and it felt like it as Guernsey's trade-mark early summer made an impromptu appearance.Guernsey Concert Brass

Here's what Simon Said:

The band have been quite busy for a change at the start of this year, having already performed two concerts and being very involved in Liberation Day by leading the formal parade, followed by leading the cavalcade of vintage and military vehicles and rounding off our morning by performing a concert on the North Beach.

We are always pleased to be performing in St James, the island’s premiere concert venue and we welcome you all here this evening.

The majority of the music we are performing this evening are new purchases, and therefore getting its first airing, we hope you find something in the programme to your liking.

2009 is proving to be ever as busy a year as in the past with the bookings that are coming in, but that is just how we like it……..entertaining the public, and serving the island of Guernsey musically.

As ever, we thank you all for your valuable support, and hope you enjoy our performance this evening.

Simon.
